Join us in amplifying The American Diabetes Association® (ADA), the nation’s leading voluntary health organization fighting to change the curve on the diabetes epidemic and help people living with diabetes thrive.
The Mission
The mission of the American Diabetes Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
About
Every year, 1.2 million people are newly diagnosed with diabetes in America. In all, 136 Americans have diabetes or prediabetes and are striving to manage their lives while living with the disease. The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is the nation’s leading voluntary health organization fighting to change the curve on the diabetes epidemic and help people living with diabetes thrive.
For more than 80 years, the ADA has been driving discovery and research to treat, manage, and prevent diabetes while working relentlessly for a cure. We help people with diabetes thrive by developing programs, advocacy, and education designed to improve their quality of life. And we’ll keep up the fight until we end diabetes once and for all.
