This is a robust iPhone game with real take-away knowledge "at-hand." This game is a lot of fun and will give you some real music knowledge at the end of the game.

Rock music is made up of three essential ingredients: melody, rhythm, and harmony.

Melody is a combination of notes strung together, the difference in pitch between notes is called an interval. Melodies are made up of a series of intervals. We're going to teach you the notes, the intervals and then play with your mind as you try to memorize the notes, intervals and then memorize melodies, bass lines, and riffs that are all intrinsically part of Rock and Roll basics.

Rhythm is what makes up all of those bone pounding patterns that we know and love. In rock they are mostly based around the Kick drum, the snare drum and the hi-hat. We're gonna teach you some of those beats, you’re going to have to use your brain power to remember some fairly long sequences. we're going to show you some graphics of whats called drum tab to play along to.

Harmony is what gives you that feeling of tension and release. Our chord games on Guitar and Piano are a way for you to start to recognize chords by their tonal "color" – you will be way ahead of the game of music when learning new songs or jamming with your friends. There are bright Major chords and funky blues 7 chords, dark and cool minor chords. We've got him for Guitar and Piano... no prejudice here.
